Stoven is an artist based in the USA. Born & raised in the small town of North Wilkesboro, NC. Growing up with four brothers, his competitive edge & ambition grew strong at an early age. His first recorded painting at around age 4 is a minimalist abstract rainbow, hinting at his future desire to often create beautiful, bright, colorful work. Throughout his elementary & middle school years, he would sometimes attend a private art class which he enjoyed, but was often discouraged by his inability to paint or draw realistically. This discouragement would continue in his 4 years in high school art class, occasionally creating something he enjoyed. During this time, he never thought of himself as a true artist, setting his sights on medical school or international business.

It wasn’t until age 20 that an angel came to him in a dream & told him he was an artist & gave him his name. The next day he painted a large canvas piece that amazed & encouraged him. He has since felt deeply inspired by the overall human experience, especially love, romance & the feelings he feels in nature. His works dive into the depth of human consciousness & the exploration of the other. The space between the space between. His task & his mission with art is to create something authentic & unique, full of power & distinguishable. His style is evolving & ever changing as you & I.

His work is currently being shown in Chicago IL, & Soho NYC. His works have been collected all over America & Mexico - Paris, France, Italy & Dubai.
